I DON’T LIKE TRICKS. Or gimmicks. Or geegaws. They add nothing to our profession. Instead, they tend to cheapen our work and our commitment to good design and good journalism.
So, when I saw the title to this piece, I knew I had to “edit” it. Now, my editing isn’t gonna make a nano-bit of difference to the article on the web. But it makes me feel much better about recommending it to you.
There are some very good TIPS here that will help you create better text. And they’re certainly worth your attention.
But they’re not tricks.
