That is the Pegasus logo for Mobil Oil. I know because it’s also the mascot for Paulsboro High School in N.J., from which I graduated! The town is home to a Mobil refinery. Or was. It was a long time ago. I still have my yearbook with the flying horse embossed on it.

When I was a kid, I used to ride my bike the the Mobil station to use their air pump to pump up my tires. I remember looking up at the Pegasus and thinking (even then) what a great symbol that was. That was when air was free. Yep…a long time ago.
