08.23.18: Narrowing it down
OK…SO THE NAME of your newspaper is long. So long, it has to stretch from margin to margin just to give it some size.
Or does it?
Well, if you’re using a wide typeface like Times, yes.
But you don’t have to use Times. You can use a typeface that’s much more condensed, yet still very strong.
Like Niagara Solid, in the middle. Classy and modern.
Or Onyx, at the bottom. Though condensed, it’s still very traditional.
Going to a bolder, more condensed typeface can give your nameplate the “oomph” you’re looking for.
