06.29.17: Need your help on this one!
ONE MORE HINT focusing on jumps. Or no jumps.
This one is a bit different, though. Instead of holding forth on not jumping, I’m hoping for help from you!
Follower Tom Lynch wrote a couple weeks ago to ask:
“Hey Ed, can we see some examples of well-designed papers that don’t jump?”
I’d really like to have a list as long as my arm. But I don’t. So, I’m asking for your help. What papers do you know that don’t jump? Can you send me some names…perhaps even a pdf of a recent page?
Oh…and just to get it on the record: Even if there are none…not one…that won’t keep me from my mission to convince you that jumps are a negative and that there are better ways to present packages to readers.
So, whaddaya say? Do you know any papers out there that don’t jump? If so, please leave a comment here or send me a quick note at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
