ONE OF YOU said last week’s Whatzit is “the Vauxhall emblem.” Another guessed it was “the Food Lion logo.”
It’s the Peugeot logo.
Here’s an interesting note from Paul Coates:
The Whatzit this week is the logo of the Peugeot automobile. Armand Peugeot and engineer Leon Serpollet introduced the first steam powered 3-wheeler in 1889 at the World Fair in Paris.
After WWII Peugeot launched the first unibody design in 1948.
The Peugeot logo has been changed several times over the years. Peugeot has won the European journalists Car of the Year award five times since 1969, the most recent being in 2016.
I suspect Paul is a car freak.
So…tell me what font this is.
